Olivia K. Akins, CRNP grew up in Uriah, Alabama, and graduated salutatorian from Blacksher High School. She pursued her dream of nursing at the University of South Alabama, where received her B.S. in nursing, graduating magna cum laude and as a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. In 2014, she joined Eastern Shore Children’s Clinic as a registered nurse. Working in pediatrics, she found her passion and calling.

Olivia admires the quote by Forest Witcraft: “A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove...but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.” She continued her education at Troy University, graduating in 2017 with her M.S. in nursing and becoming a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Olivia lives in Daphne with her husband Stephen and daughter Eilee. Together, they enjoy being outdoors, particularly on the water. Olivia is a member of Three Circle Church and enjoys gardening, decorating, and spending time with her family.
