Elizabeth M. Orr
MD, FAAP
Elizabeth M. Orr, M.D. grew up in Fairhope where she graduated as valedictorian from Fairhope High School in 2003. She went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa from Birmingham Southern College with a degree in Biology.
Throughout school Dr. Orr worked with children and young adults as a camp counselor at Camp Beckwith, a ropes course facilitator, and a Chi Omega new member educator. Dr. Orr stayed in Birmingham to pursue her medical degree at the University of Alabama School of Medicine, where she found her calling in caring for young children and teenagers in the field of pediatrics.
After graduating in 2011, she moved to the Natural State to complete her pediatric residency at the Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Discovering she missed being close to Mobile Bay, Dr. Orr chose to relocate back in her hometown where she could pursue fishing and boating on Fish River and be close to family.
When not busy at Eastern Shore Children's Clinic, Dr. Orr can be found relaxing by the water, globe trotting to experience new foods and cultures, hunting out new hiking spots, or playing with her family's many dogs. She also enjoys volunteering with Impact 100 of Baldwin County, Strickland Youth Center in Mobile, and her own local youth at St. James Episcopal Church.
Dr. Orr is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has been working at Eastern Shore Children's Clinic since 2014.
